Every patient is unique and needs to be provided with an individual treatment plan. My treatment is designed to get the quickest results that last. As well as Chiropractic Manipulation or 'adjustments', I also use a wide variety of other techniques including soft tissue therapy, dry needling and ultrasound.

Rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications are very important to recovery.

I encourage all my patients to take an active role in their treatment, as this gives the best long-term results.

Although back pain makes up the highest percentage of injuries I see in clinic, I also treat a wide variety of other joint and muscle conditions. I find working with patients with chronic long-term injuries most challenging and rewarding. If you are one of these people, maybe I could help?

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession specialising in the diagnosis, treatment and management of conditions related to joints, bones, muscles and nerves (the neuro-musculoskeletal system). Chiropractors treat all areas of the body, concentrating particularly on back pain and spinal problems.

Chiropractors have to complete ongoing training each year to make sure the sure they provide the best treatment available. Chiropractors provide a 'package of care' tailored to each patients specific needs. Treatment is based around 'hands on' manual therapy including precise, specific joint manipulation or 'adjustments', soft tissue techniques e.g. massage, Medical Acupuncture and other interventions such as ultrasound.

Chiropractic treatment aims to reduce pain and increase mobility. Chiropractors will also give you exercises and advice on day to day activities, to maximise the speed of your recovery and prevent recurrences.

Chiropractic is the fastest growing healthcare profession in the UK and is regulated by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). All Chiropractors have undergone a minimum full-time 4 years training and must have adequate insurance. It is illegal to call yourself a Chiropractor unless you are registered with the GCC.

Chiropractic treatment is suitable for all ages. Problems can be caused by trauma, posture, lifestyle, stress and every day wear and tear. Medical research supports the use of Chiropractic treatment for a wide variety of conditions including:

  • Back Pain

  • Headaches (Cervicogenic)

  • Arthritic Pain

  • Shoulder and elbow pain

  • Neck Pain

  • Joint and muscle pain

  • Aches and pains

  • Hip and knee pain

  • Plantarfasciitis
